I'm currently working on an oak kitchen. At times it gets a little cramped even in my 1600sf. Thankfully these are out of here tomorrow, I'll update pics as progress is made.

Yes, it's tough to work efficiently in small spaces, if you have to keep moving things to access what you need next. I am very fortunate to have a separate garage/ metal working area and additional storage space away from the wood shop. It's much more difficult to have various enterprises all together. Sawdust and welding never go well together..... [eek]

Lots of dovetails for drawers, unfortunately undermount slides weren't in the budget for this one.

Since I got the Dodd's dovetail machine things go a little faster than they did with a jig and router.

Just a little one, its only a 16"  [smile], infeed is 48" outfeed 34"

Well after a few weeks of work-electrical, plumbing, drywalling, refinishing the floor, setting cabinets refinishing trim, doors and windows, and soapstone install, all that is left is the leaded glass for the upper doors and the handmade tile for the backsplash.

A lot of work for a small, simple kitchen

I'm quite jealous of that jointer, when I purchased my jointer out on the West Coast, there were no used machines available and I was lucky to find a new Poitras 8" jointer but, it was very expensive back in 1980.  The weather is nice in California but, very little hardwood and almost no used quality woodworking machines.

That's interesting because a lot of the nicer machines I find are all on the left coast! Check out OWWM and you will probably find what your looking for.
