Spark Trap for CT22/33 on a Bench Grinder

Has anyone tried the Spark Trap on a CT22 or CT33?  I would like to use it with a dedicated hose at my bench grinder.  This would allow me to keep the vacuum in general woodshop service.  How big is the spark trap?  Does it fit directly on the vacuum?  What size is the inlet?

Why not use a dedicated vac? Here's my grinding station for the lathe. The small vac has a HEPA cleanStream filter. The router speed control varies the speed of the vac. One switch turned everything on (grinder and vac). It's awesome for capturing the dust when I dress/true the wheels.
