Spring Placement around Arbor on KS120

I did try and see if this topic had been discussed before and apologize if I overlooked it.  Yesterday I was cutting tapers and a piece of off cut flew up into the Blade surround.  I had to take the clear plastic blade guard off.  Its all very easy to put back together and I have done a dry run.  BUT then spring that is attached to the clear plactic  guard goes around the arbor assembly.....but for the life of me I cant see WHERE to attach the end not on the clear plastic????? The guard does function without the spring....but that is not my nature.  Some comments about this before but no one said where the location of attachment is.  The factory wants me to send the whole unit back to Indiana....I’m in Oregon.  Any diagrams or just a verbal on the attachment points would be forever a blessing.  Thanks.
