Sprinter towing a tool trailer?

Hey guys curious about getting a sprinter.

I never really see them towing anything but was wondering how you thought that they would handle a tool trailer?

According to the MB Sprinter webpage, the 2500 model has a max towing capacity of 5,000 lbs, and the 3500 model max is 7,500 lbs. Not sure if that answers your question.

As long as the suspension can handle the weight of the tongue id bet the engine could deal with it pretty easily. Maybe they have an upgraded suspension option?

You'd probably have to unhitch it to get convenient access to the back doors of the sprinter. I usually unhitch my trailer anyway when I get where I'm going as i dont want to bring it with me if i have to run out for food/materials.
