Hi,

I've picked up a couple of the R type stabila's.  Has anyone else got them and do they fit in the normal Stabila carry bag?  I dont have a carry bag but thought the usual stabila bag may be too tight for 2-3 levels.  I also read Gary Katz' review and he did say they wouldnt fit, not sure if thats because the previous levels were in it too.

I had thought about getting a cheap bag for skis, you get them in 2m.  Thought I'd ask before I buy anyhting.

Cheers
Neil

I have the Stabila 18375 R-Type Level 180cm in the Stabila 16594 bag and there is no way you would comfortably be able to fit two of them in it.

I don't have two, so can't try it, but I wouldn't think it would work even if the levels "spooned" into their R shapes...

Yeah thats what I thought,  I think I'll go down the ski bag route.  I like to keep them all in the same bag, Ideal if Festool made the guide rail bag in a 2m option!!

I fit the small torpedo and the 24&48 r beam in the multiple pocket bag.they are tight, but you can still get them out without ripping off the end cap.the other pockets could still accept flat things less than a inch

Do you all like the R beam levels. I own the 6' to 10' level and it is the greatest carpentry hand tool I own.

Does anyone know if we can get these in Australia yet?

We do not have them at work (Home Hardware) they are not at Bunnings and my favourite Festool dealer does not have them in their general tool section.
