Standard Vacuum Hose for Festool Dust Extractor

Has anyone adapted a standard vacuum hose to a Festool dust extractor? For general vacuuming, (not woodworking purposes) I'm looking to adapt a general, easy to handle vacuum hose to a Festool CT mini mobile extractor. Hose port is 1.16" in diameter. Anyone?

Doesn't really need adaptation. 

A standard ShopVac hose will fit on a CT and vise versa.

Right, just pull the 90 elbow out and any regular NA shop vac hose will fit. It will stick straight up but if you are swapping it out for clean ups that won't really matter.
