The Festool extractors are brilliant and coupled with the emphasis in their tool design on dust collection we all benefit. I have got rid of my overhead filtration system in my workshop despite cutting MDF from time to time. I use a shortened 36mm hose for my Kapex and recently did a series of tests for a UK magazine. Starting with a clean machine, I did about 15 cross cuts of 4x2 using the Kapex and my CTL26 (same suction as your machine). The before and after photographs were so similar, despite being high resolution, that in the magazine print the after photograph looked identical to the before one. It was a genuine test but the festool extractor did so well it looked like a fix.
