Well it's been a while since I posted a customized Systainer.  [smile]

            Ever since I got a Fein T-Loc for my Multimaster I've had this ex-BTI orange Sys - III sitting unused. And also a drawer unit from a project that never left the ground. Had been using a fishing tackle box for my trimmer (KM110) stuff but as I added attachments and also a chainsaw (MS260) the box just wasn't holding everything. So I put this Sys unit together.  Holds spool of line, grease and lubricants, special tools, parts, preloaded  trimmer heads, a couple wedges, extra chain, etc. Plus has some room to spare.

        The BTI orange and the Tanos light gray are a pretty good match for the Stihl colors. I spray painted the drawer latches. Couldn't decide between orange or gray for the connecting latches so went with black. The labels are just vinyl  stickers that I found.

Looks great!  Where did you find those interlocking dividers?

BTW, add a Pferd chainsaw filer to the box. It will mess up your color scheme, but it’s the same as the Stihl file and it’s brilliant.  It files the teeth and rakers in one step and it uses quality files (that are replaceable).

Great idea...I have the same issues. Chain saw sharpener, Stihl tools, edger blades, trimmer line & spools and it goes on. And then there's always that stack of small Stihl manuals that you want to keep.

Yeah, I haven't bothered to do my own sharpening. I really don't cut all that much (not doing firewood) just downed trees, occasional clearing, pruning limbs. I just have a spare chain for the saw and the pole saw / pruner. I can get them pro sharpened on a jig style auto sharpening machine for about $6 each. But I have thought about filing for touch ups. Have to check out the one you mentioned.

The dividers are a Tanos item. Haven't shopped for them in while but try Woodcraft.

Yes, but they are old, and a pain to put on and move in. Been thinking of finding a new better pair.

The Rolaids bottle ............................................ filled with water and stores replacement plastic blades.  Stihl packaging says to keep in water to prevent plastic from becoming brittle over time. True or not, I don't know, but they do  seem  to last a bit longer.

I'm going to say "yes".

I bought some of the dividers from Woodcraft in February of this year.  When the lid of the Systainer is open and you are looking at the hinges, the divider fits tight in the left-right direction only in the area of the label holders.  At any other location there is maybe 1/8" or slightly more of clearance (aka slop).  The front-back direction is not a problem because you will have to cut the divider to fit.
