I do have to tell you guys the rainbow side of the story it's not quite as good as catching someone in the act but it's close
a couple streets away from me on my way home from work I noticed a guy using a familiar looking mitre saw set up , same saw, same stand, SAME BLADE ! He was working on his own house repairing exterior trim or something after 3 days driving home I finally had to pull over I said to myself, what are the odds of a diy homeowner owning a 600$ ls1013 on 250$ stand with an 80$ Freud blade , I got out of my truck walked up to him & saw my initials stamped in the aluminum , my heart pounding I said, WHERE'S THE REST OF EM !

The guy looked at me like he was gonna faint
he apologized over and over , told me a friend of his new a guy who was selling a mitre saw blah blah blah, please don't call the cops blah blah
that was a 200$ mistake on his part , naturally I took the saw...he waves at me all the time now. Lol

Just so thankful I never been robbed. I've been asked why I don't have signs on my van, just one real good reason, it is less obvious to the spot & steal group... and it might save me a few jhp's.
