I'm working on designing a built-in book case, floor to ceiling on 2 perpendicular walls. I am looking for any suggestions that people may have on how to design the detail for the corner where the two book-cases will meet. To maximize floor space in the rather small room, I'd like the corner to intersect at 90-degrees, rather than building a transition corner cabinet at 45-degrees. I am planning on incorporatingn a rolling ladder as well in the design, so the corner detail should be 90 for that to work best.
The bottom section of the book cases will be drawers, and the top section open book shelves. I am planning on using domino to build face-frames, and LR32 to make shelves adjustable. The drawer section will be face-frame, with cope and stick drawer fronts, ideally flush to the face frame.
If anyone has done, or seen, a similar project, I'd be really interested in your feedback.
