I'm working on designing a built-in book case, floor to ceiling on 2 perpendicular walls.  I am looking for any suggestions that people may have on how to design the detail for the corner where the two book-cases will meet.  To maximize floor space in the rather small room, I'd like the corner to intersect at 90-degrees, rather than building a transition corner cabinet at 45-degrees.  I am planning on incorporatingn a rolling ladder as well in the design, so the corner detail should be 90 for that to work best.

The bottom section of the book cases will be drawers, and the top section open book shelves.  I am planning on using domino to build face-frames, and LR32 to make shelves adjustable.  The drawer section will be face-frame, with cope and stick drawer fronts, ideally flush to the face frame.

If anyone has done, or seen, a similar project, I'd be really interested in your feedback.

I'd probably pick one side and build it all the way to the corner with a false side where the other butts into it? Maybe that's obvious and you're asking something else.

You might check out DIY. David Marks did an beautiful 1/4 round unit out of Cherry and Wenge I think. Cherry was the main wood and it was edged with  Wenge. looked fantastic.

Thanks for the references and ideas so far.  I was doing some of my own research and stumbled across this resource...I thought I should share it with others.

If you build them to create the 90 degree corner, you will loose storage space equal to depth of the intersecting unit.
Maybe a false panel to utilize the space as a "secret" compartment?

These are pictures of a set with 45 degree corners.

There are also other pictures so feel free to look around.

(Finally bought my first Festools so I feel o.k. posting here now).

Why on the Festool Owners Group does Festool Show as a misspelled word? (I know I can add it just thought it was funny)
