Well, technically one is not new but, it is newly bored and sharpened.

I am not able to really use them just yet but, will within the week.

First I had my 60t Matsushita re-bored to 30mm and a fresh sharpening.  These have been my personal favorites for the last few years.  ATB grind.

I bought a Tenryu  IW-25080ab3, European style blade.  It has ATAFR grind.  alternate top, alternate face with raker.

I will also get my 60t Festool blade back from sharpening on monday or tuesday.
I will be delegating it to muck work, 2x4's, composite decking and railings, things like that.

I have several big chunks of 120 year old timbers, oak, ash, chestnut and poplar.  I will take some slices out of those.

Just passing some info on for now.

I'd be interested to hear how the Tenryu works out.  I'm not happy with the either of the stock blades that I have.

Which one do you use? They've got a bunch, a few that are close to you're description.

Combination                  MS10060CB  10"  60t  3/32 kerf
Ultra-Crosscut                MS10080CC          10"  80t  3/32 kerf
Heavy Duty Work Horse  MSHD10060CB  10"  60t    1/8 kerf
Heavy Duty Work Horse  MSHD10080CC  10"  80t    1/8 kerf

Any thoughts on the others?

The blade I had re-bored is the heavy duty work horse 60t.

I have used their 12" HD workhorse's and I run a couple 40t 10's in my table saw.  They do sing a little in a cabinet saw but, so did the Tenryu's when I used them.

I also run the 7 1/4 matsushita's in my circular saw, kind of pricey but they are the best.  Last the longest and I can rip like butter with my magnesium makita.

The Matsushita's Heavy Duty's last a long time between sharpening's and are a nice beefy blade.  If you get the chance to use one, I strongly recommend it.

Mod's, Feel free to move this theard to a different area, I meant to post it in reviews or something but, this is where it went after I hit post!!

It's makes me feel all warm and fuzzy since I got my matsushita blade back from being re-bored and sharpened.

I have been cutting some 12" wide 5/4 Ash with the matsushita today.  Man that is a good blade.
I have not looked at any tear out yet, the lumber is only planed on one side.  I have been sizing it to pieces I can manage.
I am re-building part of a stair case in an old house.  The bottom four steps were horrible once the carpet was off.

The bottom one's were also built as removable.
I think they hid coffee in there during the depression.
May be a good place to hide my tools!!

How often do you have to sharpen your blades?  And how many times can you sharpen them?

It depends on what I am cutting.  Pre finished materials
chew up a blade fast. Cutting raw wood I get a lot of use
out of a blade before it needs servicing,  more often than
not the blade needs a tooth before it needs sharpening.

As long as you don't mess up the body of the saw blade,
warp bend etc.  you should get years of service from the
blade itself.
