I have a psb 300 jigsaw in sys 1 and its a tight fit for plug it cable and blades.I have since have bought the circle cutter and guide rail base plate which have no chance of fitting in sys 1!Same to with my t15 in sys 1.I have since bought the angle attachment but storing anything else like drill bits, extra battery or screws etc would be a tight squeeze.Would it not be better supplying these tools in sys 2?

I've moved several of the tools up into Sys 2s for this reason.

Really tight squeezes in Sys 1's if you add any accessories or abrasives...
Jigsaw      (I fit the circle guide, extra base plates, extra splinter guards, blade pack, etc all in Sys2)
LS130       (extra base or sandpaper means the power cord doesn't fit anymore)
RTS400     (same as with LS130)
C12 kit      (can't hardly fit any bits!  But currently still in a Sys 1... C'mon Centrotec kit!!      [poke]   )

The good news is:
You can buy the screw boxes and foam inserts and such to put your Systainer 1's back to work.    [wink]

yeah a done it for the t15,yet to do it with psb 300 which really needs to be sys 2.Sys 1 are ok for holdin screws sandpaper etc but not so good for tools.

I don't like the sys 1's either. Too tight indeed. I exchanged almost every 1 for a 2.

same here. the sys 2 with attic storage is really handy for the trion, because you can easily access the blades in the attic storage.
when you buy one of the festool drills as the "set" version (so with the fast fix attachments), dont they come IN the systainer? how can these not fit in there?

I keep my PS300 in a Sortainer....

You can also use plastic boxes for hardware storage in the other large drawer...for example...

Steve,

Other than saying that you put away a cord more neatly than I, and you have maximized the usage of that sortainer, and great idea, I must complement you on your photography.  How the heck do you do it?

I'd say a tripod, macro lens, a white background and a box light on the right side (slight shadowing on the left) ?

Cutting it out in photoshop also helps  [big grin]

Ah yes! The ultimate photographic problem solver!  It has saved me a number of times.
