Sys light

So I bought a sys light a few days ago,and today was the first time using it.
After a min or so,it goes from full light to lower light. Then it shuts off.
 
The booklet says the battery light should blink green when the thing is charged,witch it is,but it is acting like it is out of juice.

I don't want to leave it on the charger if it has a charge,but it seems like it is out.

The green light stays on when the sys light is charged. The blinking light means it is charging.

I figured I read the book wrong.
Thought it said blinking was charged.

I don't want to leave it on the charger if it has a charge,but it seems like it is out.

I have both a SysLite I & a SysLite II. For the last 3-4 years, the SysLite I has been on my bench plugged into its charger with no ill effects. Now the SysLite II is also plugged in to take advantage of its power failure mode.

FWIW...directly from the SysLite II manual, rather confusing;
LED green - continuous light, Internal battery is charged to 90% and then charged fully at reduced power.

LED green - flashing slowly, Internal battery is charged to 80%.

LED green - flashing quickly, Internal battery is charged at maximum power.
