I'm in need for a flash light and thinking about getting the syslite uni
The price tag is much better than the other syslite work lamp but I know it is less powerful
For those who has one,how do you like it?
Any problems?
I just got 2 new 15v 5.2a/h batteries for my drill
This would be a nice addition to it

I use my Uni way more than my SysLite KAL. It's great for just general use around the house. The adjustable head let's you put light right where you need it. And, I think it's plenty bright, at least for what I use it for.

As above, plus since I got my PDC set and the light now lives in with the PDC systainer it gets used even more.

I use the Uni as a general flashlight. Works very well. I still prefer the Syslite to illuminate an area without good lighting.

any news on when the syslite II is coming to our shores?  Is it that much better than the original and worth waiting for?

Yes I figured that it is a flash light rather than a work light
But I should be OK when I need light inside cabinets or small dark area?

Yes it will work in a cabinet. You get task lighting instead of illuminating the entire interior of the cabinet. The angle stops on the head and hanging hook work well also.

I have both the SysLite (regular) and the Uni .  I would call the Uni a cross between a flashlight and the SysLite. The Uni is still much more of a flood light than most flashlights. Definitely not a spot small area light. It casts a similar light to the SysLite but a smaller area and less range but. Should light the inside of a cabinet with no problem. The adjustable head works very nicely. The belt clip is pretty good too.  It is very light weight especially since I have been using it with a 12v LiOn battery. I like it quite a bit.

Was just searching around the yard for a skunk with it a little bit ago.  [eek]

There's a story you can leave people hanging on ........

I stopped by my local woodcraft and got the light
That is  exactly what I was looking for
Thanks again for your feedback

I had the opportunity to use the Uni over the last few days in locations I would have normally used my SysLite. I used the 5.2 AH battery from the TSC 55.

One was a sink replacement and plumbing work in the cabinet. The light worked well, with the adjustable head I could direct the light where I needed it.

Second was a service panel replacement. With no power available once I shut off the main disconnect the light would be my only source of light. Again could direct the light where I needed it, but n this situation the broader light from the Sys Lite would have been a little better.

The battery lasted through both projects. The power LED was still green at the end.

A side note----the PDC drill works extremely well, had to mount the backer board for the service panel to a concrete wall.
