Systainer dedicated forum?

it seems to me the we could benefit from a forum dedicated to discussions about Systainers, kinda like the "all things systainer" forum at *that other place*.

Stuff like mods, kaizen uses, etc.

If you're going to start that sort of thing you may as well separate routing, sanding, sawing, etc ... I personally wouldn't - but that's me.

Well, after discussing it with the moderators I've created a separate board for Systainer/Sortainers discussions. Let's see how it goes. If it doesn't work out for whatever reason, it's easy for me to consolidate these back into the Festool Tools section.

"the other place" is talkFestool and guess who's idea it was  on tF?  [scratch chin]  [big grin]

Though we would not likely want to seperate all the other tool types, having a place for the Systainer stuff will greatly aid finding it for ideas and referance. It will likely be loaded with mostly mods. , customizations, and such. In some ways similar to the jigs  board for tools.  Also since just about everything Festool involves a Systainer, searches in the more general board can be difficult. This should make it easier to find Systainer  postings.

BTW, we are planning to put Sysport threads there too, including home made Sysports. That should help when people are looking for ideas to build one.
