Hello,

just wanted to show my finished insert for my beloved ETS 150/5 as my first post. I was inspired by many of your posts here, so thank you very much for that :)

Hi,

Welcome to the forum!  [smile]

Do you have other Systainer inserts or modifications ?

Seth

Hi,

thanks all.
At the moment this is my only mod, but I have some ideas in my mind
Depends a little bit on my next purchases :D

[welcome]

Nice work on the insert.

I have become fascinated with Systainers and am moving to them to store everything. I am anxious to see any future ideas that you have.

Hi,

I also love the systainers. Some of my tools are Bosch machines in their L-BOXXes and everyday I use one of my tools, I see the tiny little benefits of the systainers.

My wife already asked me, if I can by her some Mini-Systainers for her sewing stuff :D Maybe I will do some inserts for those.

Thanks!

(Im)balance is quite good but still recognizable. I think the wooden seperators on the right side are a good counter balance together with all the abrasives, interface pads etc. Of course not as much as the ETS but at least enough to have it more balanced. With the original Systainer Insert the ETS is also little bit more on the left side to give some room for the abrasives on the right, but not as much as I needed :)

Yes, many of the factory inserts are a waste of space. The balance issue is probably the cause, but I don't know for sure. Your setup is far more convenient. Good work.

I am betting that Sortainers would shine for this purpose.

Yes, thats right. But they are too big to put them in our shelves and the mini Systainers have a bigger cuteness factor :D

Ah Ha! , An excuse to build new shelves and thus require even more new tools  [wink]

Seth

Unfortunately the shelves are quite new, ok 2 years old and from my pre-Festool-aera :( So there is no reason to buid new ones for now. But there are already some tools on my ToBuy-List for other projects :D
