Systainer Inserts

I've owned the basic LR-32 kit for quite a while, and decided that it was finally time to get it a proper home - in a systainer.  So, I order a Festool branded systainer, and call Festool support for the insert (part # 700902).  I asked if it would be possible to get the lid insert that has the picture of where everything goes, and the systainer sticker as well, and was told "I'll ask them to throw them in for you".  So, package gets here, and the systainer insert is in there, but nothing else.  Now, the entire point of getting this is to better organize the tools, and to put stuff in its proper place.

I am happy to pay extra for these things, but to not even offer them is just silly.  Why even bother selling the inserts if it isn't (painfully) obvious where everything is supposed to go?

I feel your pain, we have been after printed lid inserts before on behalf of customers but in all these years as a dealer they have never been available.  [sad]

It's not perfect (I'm no graphic designer) but I hope the attached will let you at least print something that will give you what you need until you can source the actual item.

It's 8.4MB in size, so I've attached a smaller picture to give you an idea and left the full document as an attachment you can download.

That's nice. Since Festool doesn't sell these insert separately:
I'm also searching for the next inserts for T-Loc systainers:
  • MFK 700
  • C 12 Li
  • DX 93 Deltex
  • LS 130 Duplex
  • ZH-SYS-PS 400/420

Maybe somebody can scan these for me?

I only have the ZH-SYS-PS 400/420 out of that list, but the sheet doesn't show where the items are stored; doesn't actually show much of interest at all to be honest.

I've attached a photo of the sheet and of the items in storage if that helps. If you really want the scan, I'm happy to do it but the tabs that secure the sheets are a PITA to remove without damaging the sheet itself!  [sad]

If I recall correctly, at least here in NA it was only a couple of years ago on new tools that the inserts starting to show how the tools stored.

Nice job Garry!

To be clear, it's only a scan of the original insert. The "not a graphic designer" reference related to the fact that the colours are off and there's a slight overlap as the sheet is larger than my scanner bed so I had to do it in two halves.

I didn't *create* the file [smile]

Thanks for the help fellas.  Shane responded and they're going to send out the inserts that I had initially requested.  In the meantime, that helped me get everything properly packed up.  The problem was that I had figured out where stuff went (mostly) but talked myself out of it, because of how tightly things fit - "Oh, that's too tight to fit in there, it must go somewhere else".

Last month I received three systainers which had damaged lid insert cards. I contacted the retailer and was given this phone number to contact [800-554-8741]. The three inserts were sent to me about a week after my inquiry. They were sent "no charge" from Festool, Lebanon In. This was my first contact with Festool Service and found them very receptive to my concern. Hope this helps.  :)

Anyone else get annoyed when trying to repack the LR32 systainer? The picture is upside down!

Well, that's why I had posted initially.  I made the request directly to Festool, and they didn't send them.  We're all human, I suppose.  Fortunately Shane was able to straighten them out for me and get me the insert and stickers.  It seems like these sort if things should be orderable online.  I was happy to pay for them and shipping, but certainly grateful to not have to.
