Systainer minis stacking question

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, thinking about getting systainers to organize my tools and equipment. I do a lot of different kinds of work and need a way to swap between toolsets and keep things straight in my car. I also need a way to keep costuming gear a) organized and b) reasonably safe/weather protected at outdoor locations. I'm thinking these might do the trick.
I'm not entirely clear on the modularity though. The mini dimensions aren't quite right to fit 2 minis sideways on top of a T-LOC I-V or drawer unit. It appears based on a picture in the Tanos catalogue pdf, the minis are meant to fit IN the others not on top of them. Is that right? Not sure why I need a container for my containers, but..  Is there a stacking diagram?

Parras, first off,  [welcome] to the FOG.  Yes, the minis will fit into the regular Systainers, but won't stack by two sideways on top of a regular size T-Loc Systainer. You might want to consider a number of the Systainer 1's for your application, as they will stack and lock together.

You are wise to question the utility of storing minis inside regular systainers. It is an inefficient use of space and a very expensive way to store things. I do like minis for stacking on their own but they do not hold much.

The Tloc 1,2,3,4,5 will stack like that on a Maxi.
