Systainer Secrets

This might fit in your disclaimer as well:

'Timber is a natural product which expands and contracts according to atmosphere (temperature and humidity) conditions.'

(shameless copy from a leaflet of a wood supplier in NL)

Yea, i like that one.

Reminds me of my 2 favorite excuses.  If a gap appears then its "expansion"  If a crack appears then its "character"  ;)

Chris, I was in Indiana at Festool for most of this week and I got the google alert that someone posted with the title "systainer"

I couldn't get the images to load on my hotel wifi so I just checked the thread now to see what you were talking about and I gotta say my friend you reaching with this one, some serious conspiracy stuff!

But then I thought and sat back for a second.  I was guilty, on more than one occasion while at Festool HQ of taking note of some very odd and almost questionable "too good to be true" and "what the &*($^%$" moments

I agree. As I've stated above my logic tells me that this is just coincidence and the pencil thing is just ridiculous. But it's always nice to believe it is there for a reason  [smile]

Please share your "questionable" moments. I am intrigued.

I would....if I could.  I don't want any 3 AM phone calls from Indiana tonight ;)

Indiana wants me
Lord I can't go back there

I was wondering how long it would take someone to respond with that refrain.  ::)

Frequently carry coffee this way.

It's the same as the pencil but I have had some accidentally end up here.  A gift from the Tanos gods. [big grin]

Had the jammer set for 6 or 7 years.  All the viles are still good.  They have taken a few tumbles though.

Underneath so it's hidden. That ingenious! ;)

50mm dominos fit the open holes on the bottom of the systainers.  Great for making your own sysports!
