Hello Folks,
Here goes post #1!!!:

So I have been hearing that many festool user's systainers have stickers that are peeling off and apparently, festool doesn't have replacement parts.  Well, with a few years of Photoshop experience, I'm pretty sure I can recreate some of the labels easily.  The problem, well, I only have a CT Midi :-[ :-[ :-[

So, I need some help from those of you who still have your systainer labels intact to post a high-res, zoomed in image of your label.  As for those who have labels that are goners, maybe a quick upload of a scan from the fallen-off label could help.  Thanks for helping out!!! ;)

i just write on the syatainer with a sharpie..... if I need to rewrite it I have white spray primer from zinser and spray over it and then wirte the new label

I don't want to throw cold water on your plans, but I wonder if very many people would even want such labels (let alone pay for them).  When my labels fall off (which usually doesn't take very long),. I simply replace them with plastic labels that I make in my Dymo Label Maker.  I find it somewaht easier to spot the tool that I am after with my simple home-made labels than with the pictures and text on the Festool labels

Timmy C. (Festool Junkie?) made up some nice labels a while back and generously shared them with us. You might try e-mailing him (he's on the dealer's list). I put mine on about a year ago and they seem to stick better than the original.

Bob Marino (I think)  posted a solution awhile back, which I've found works reasonably well.

Use some spray adhesive.  Spray it on the label and the systainer and allow to get a little tacky before re-applying the label.  Works similar to contact cement.

I find that leaving my tools in the freezing cold garage seems to make the stickers more likely to fall off.

Frustrating isn't it!  We are in a very warm to very hot climate and I noticed the same problem.  I do like having the correct label on the systainer so what I do is go over the existing label with clear packaging tape such as 3M or another quality brand and then trim it off with a nice sharp utility knife, that seems to work well and retain the Festool original stickers.

What I did was to get a sheet of thin plexiglass and cut rectangles the size of the labels. Then I pop rivet the pieces over the labels. Problem solved.

Don't complain about the stickers coming off after a while.... The one on my ts 55 systainer was removed by Hafele and put on my invoice. (happend about 5 months ago)

They also strapped down the guiderail on both ends with the systainer underneath in the middle... Yes it was bent  ::)
