Why does Festool stop at the T15 x 100 mm and not provide a T10 x 100 mm? My trim head screws are T10 and I prefer the 100 mm length bits with most of my applications. If Festool doesn't make the T10 in the 100 mm length does anyone know where I can get one?

Not a big fan of the 25 mm bits in a holder.

Hold on, while we're on the subject I'd like to suggest that Festool provide ALL Centrotec bit tip options in both 100 mm and 50 mm lengths.

So far I have not been able to find a T10 long Centrotec from any maker. Lots of adapter options but that's not really ideal.

Hi,

You can get 100mm T10 bits from various suppliers, just not with Centrotec shaft.

Ko-ken 121T-100-T10 (for example)

Kind regards,
Oliver

PB Swiss manufactures long length 1/4" hex insert bits. These have the same small groove as the 1" long 1/4" insert bits Festool sells but are 95mm in length. The insert bits could be directly inserted into the hex recess in the Festool drill shafts, or into a centrotec insert bit adapter.

I believe the part number is C6.L-400.10-80 for the T10 long length insert bits. Current cost is just $5.24 per bit.

Not a centritec bit, but well regarded as far as quality, and will get you sort of close to what you're looking for. I presume other manufacturers might produce similar, but I didn't check, and most bits I saw on a quick search were shorter or had the longer quick change ball detent shank.

The 1/4" QC bit is readily available from many different manufactures in various tips/lengths. But, with the Festool centrotec chuck system I was wondering why we don't see more of an offer with the centrotec shaft bits from Festool in NA. Snappy offers some centrotec shaft bit options as well.
