Has anyone else noticed that Tanos systainers are available in the US?  Check out the following link:
www.mysystainer.com

It looks like its part of the Japan Woodworker business.  Lots of options shown on website!

I couldn't get to web site to work so I called.  Nice site, they said they were going to take a look at the site.  The have the Fein Multimaster insert, which is what I have been wanting and I ordered a few of the colored latches.  Nice to have this site in North America.  I can see them doing a good business if they offer all of the inserts we couldn't get before.

Interesting, the Festool versions (particularly the drawer systainer equivilants) are often lower prices than the Tanos version.
However, there's more variety to choose from on the Tanos site.

I assume it is for a Sys I - I ordered one as I have a multimaster in a Systainer today but it's not very organized.

If it's the standard multimaster insert (and it looks like it from the picture on the website) then it's for a Sys 2 - they're just too deep to fit comfortably in a Sys 1, which is really annoying; putting a multimaster in a Sys2 seems like such an inefficient use of space. I ended up making my own insert for a Sys 1 and put the Tanos one on eBay...

Cheers, Pete

If someone actually receives their order, please post.  I couldn't get any shipping details via the website, so emailed them to ask about it and the email address they show on the website doesn't exist.  Are you sure this is legit?

According to the German site the Multimaster goes in a Sys 2. Which is what I ordered plus the different colored latches.  You can never have enough systainers.

I placed an order with them today.  Website is not taking orders online currently, so I had to call them.  Very nice service...Leon

Well, I received my order today.  I purchased the multimaster insert and a systainer 2 and some of the colored latches.  Good service and got here quick.  Looks like I might be ordering some more.

Received my order today.  I like the handle on the Tanos systainer better than the festool version. I will order my systainers from them in the future.

do the colored latches fit on the festool systainers also?  thank you

Kreg, yes, the latches are the same, and easily replaced.

I think it's a bit odd that stores round here sell the (tanos) systainers that are branded "ironside" (black with yellow latches) for much less than tanos sells them themselves.
Up untill Festoolman's comment, I hadn't even noticed the handles were different (whithout the grooves)

Thanks for posting this.  Many people have been wanting to replace their Festool latches with others having different colors to enable quickly identifying particular tools or supplies.

The Systainer IV with the two large drawers is something I have been interested in.  Expensive, though.  Now all I need is money enough for one and the C12 or T12 or T15 drill set to put in it.

Good Morning Guys,

As I promised last year, I will work on bringing TANOS to the US market. As this time some of you know Tanos has a distributor that is www.mysystainer.com and they brought almost everything Tanos has available.
So, I hope you will support them.
In the mean while, I am looking for another distributor for the woodworking in the East Coast. I will let you know as soon as I have the right distributor.
For any of you going to AWFS, Tanos has a booth #8810. The location is Las Vegas and the date is July 15 to 18.
Hope to see you there!

Franck
