Its not thats just where the tape flicks look at it again in slow mo you will see.

No it's not a trick. At 21 seconds he's trying to catch the keys that lay on a shelf right in front of the camera. When he hits them and the tape retracts the weight of the keys pull the tape to the ground when they clear the shelf. It all happens in a split second so maybe that confuses you.

No it's not a trick. At 21 seconds he's trying to catch the keys that lay on a shelf right in front of the camera. When he hits them and the tape retracts the weight of the keys pull the tape to the ground when they clear the shelf. It all happens in a split second so maybe that confuses you. 

It is a trick with editing. I am not confused at all when the blade of the measuring tape magically passes through his fingers that were holding it a split second earlier. There was already a discussion on another board with people who do video editing for a living and who dissected the whole thing. But if the video itself doesn't convince, again where the blade magically passes through his hands, then let's take a look at some more of his "real" videos.

These are viral videos supposedly created by Integrity windows to sell their product. I personally think this is the dumbest use of this type of marketing ever. It really doesn't fit with the type of person that they are trying to go after and whomever they hired to do it should be fired and sued so that they can recoup their money.

The last one where he throws a saw blade perfectly on a line cutting the 2x4 was featured on FineHomebuilding.com's online extras   To me, it's like reality TV: not real, but intended to be entertaining.

Well proclive, I must admit that you're right after all. I could believe the tape measure thing but those other videos you posted where just completely over the top and obviously doctored.

Yes, it would appear they were, but really good to watch though.  There is talent in being able to edit video that well though  [huh]

DITTO ........ they get more more fake especially the saw blade one. Still entertaining though.
