Tapered hose??

I mistakenly bought a non static hose which is tapered its a 36 to 32mm. What is the purpose of the taper and is it worth keeping for a kapex or should I just punt it on eBay while it's still new?

I believe the idea behind the tapered hose is that it maintains a larger diameter as long as possible to give you better airflow, but tapers at the end so it is more flexible. Might be worth hanging on to for your Kapex, otherwise it would likely be popular on e-bay. Best of luck!!
