TCL-3 charger input voltages

I recently purchased an HKC-55 that, of course, came with a TCL-3. I need to use it in the US with 110VAC input. I have an inverter but noticed that my other festool battery chargers are also TCL-3s. A few questions:

1) May I charge the batteries that came with the HKC-55 with the 110vAC TCL-3? I'm assuming that you are going through a charging circuit that converts to a half-wave 18VAC (or slightly higher) charge but don't have a scope here to check it. If so, are the outputs of both charge circuits the same.

2) Before i take apart the 240VAC TCL-3 and check, is there a input voltage switch on the inside? Yes, I know this will void the warranty but I'm trying to avoid carrying several chargers and a step-up transformer.

Thanks

Brian

Does it say 100-240v 50-60Hz on the back?
If not the you need a transformer for many chargers, or a 110v charger.

Yes, you may. Whether or not the chargers are different, the batteries are the same over the entire world and can be charged by any Festool charger they fit in.

My little A10M has a 230v charger.
I have a tungsten grinder which is 230v and some other stuff...

I have a pigtail with an aussie-bloke end with a Eu-female to plug those Eu tools into.
In the US you would have a US-male (drier) end and an Eu-female outlet to facilitate charging...
But a sparkie a 6-pack and have the outlets and cord ready, and that is all it takes.

Nope, 220-240 which is why I thought it might lack the internal step-down transformer/circuitry. Thanks for the input.

Great. I'll put the 220VAC charger up for sale and buy another 110VAC.Fun saw - wish it was regularly available in the US.

Can anyone link to the 110 volt version of this charger, I'm in the UK but it would be dead handy to be able to charge these batteries from site electrical power, saves a long walk down to the cabin and means the charger and battery is where I can keep an eye on it.
