Hello gang! My name is Ramon...I'm new to the forum and I'd like to share with you a fixture that I make and sell for the Domino machines...both the DF500 & XL700. Basically, it's a "cradle" (called the Domino Dock) that allows the user to position the Domino in an upright, yet very stable position. Once the Dock is screwed down, clamped or installed in a vise, this vertical stance creates a very versatile working environment, especially for smallish pieces...providing a faster method for repeated cuts, greatly improved accuracy and overall ease of use. In addition, several styles of clamps can be used to offer a firm hold on small parts whilst adding safety.
I made one years ago (my first few prototypes were quite ugly and the design has been refined over the last two years) and as people saw it on Instagram, I had many requests to sell them. I've had incredibly positive feedback from the hundreds of customers that use the Domino Docks in their shops (and in the field).
To see them in action, visit my website, go to "shop", find Domino Dock, then scroll down a bit to see video. I also have more info under my "highlights" icon in Instagram. Or, once in Instagram, use #dominodock. My user name for IG is @ramonartful
Thank you tons, Ramon
We had to list my website name like this because I was having issues listing it as a link. I apologize...this isn't a link, but it will be resolved soon and link like normal. Website: www. ramonvaldezfinefurniture.com
