In the middle of a job where i have 400 Lin ft of 45 degree bevel in 1x popular and 150 ft of ripping. I have tried festools universal blade but did not like it at all, so i ordered a 28tooth tenryu blade. I tried it out at the end of the day today, beveled both sides of a 1x8 for some columns. I was very impressed, the cut was very smooth and cut with ease. Most new blades are good at first so i am anxious to see how it does after 400ft of beveled tomorrow. Will let you know my results after i have a chance to make some sawdust. Will post some pics if i can figure out how. Not very computer savvy.

I had a similar problem ripping live edge (bark) oak 4/4 into straight stock.  The stock blade was great at first but wasn't the right blade,  so I bought the Festool Panther blade and the solved my problem.

I will help with pictures, but if you can spare 6 minutes of time watching a video on how to visit this one.  It is easier than you think.  How to attach images video

If you click on the link at the bottom you can view in separate window and enlarge.

I'll be looking forward to hear how it works out. I've got one of these blades and it's gotten some use on doors, some 6/4 pine and some 4/4 hardwood. I'm pretty sure I've cut more than 400 feet and my blade seems to holding well. So far this is one of my favorite blades.
