Would you mind sharing more? Or was there a thread I missed?
Did you do the complete house? Before/After?

Beautiful work dude! Looks like the new digs will need the special touch too?

[size=13pt]Yes [member=21192]alkaline[/member]  perhaps they should for many a purchase, and as we see below FOG posts and videos, were justified  by this restoration.  [smile] It did not help that my dealer was 10mins by car away. Now I no longer travel to the city weekly and he is 1hr 40mins away.  [eek]

This was our now former inner city house which we restored part time over the past five years.

The house/shop was originally built around 1860 with an incomplete rear extension attached  in 1980. The task was to restore/ renovate but not significantly change/re-design the original building.  This included floor to ceiling repairs and refinishing, repairing the roof, re rendering the exterior  and completing the extension interior. Some plumbing was also replaced including the rebuilding of a shower set.

There have been numerous FOG posts along the way with regard to some  specific tasks such as restoring/sanding doors, matching new and old timber [Thanks [member=1674]Peter Halle[/member]  ] constructing a bench top, installing a lining board ceiling, treating window frames, demolition and building a rear deck and naturally, some discussion of the odd related Festool purchase.

Very nice!  [thumbs up]

That certainly demonstrates the info that can be garnered from this forum. And in turn all the input from that members provide! Excellent!
