Well with the day off I've had some play time with my new Festools. A used 150 Rotex, Domino and the CT22. All I can say is I'm blown away.
I was a big disbeliever in Festool up till about three months ago. I was believing all the negatives that get thrown around about Festool. To expensive for the hobbyist, need to buy only Festool consumables and all the negatives, you know them all I found this site with some help from the Domino contest and started reading what you guys had to say. That swayed me to go take a look first hand at the woodworking show. Simple well made tools that work great and keep the shop clean along the way. What was I doing throwing money at subpar tools that lasted about a year.
Just wanted to say thanks to Per, Dan, Mathew and especially Bob Marino for answering my questions and helping me along the way. Here is one hobbyist that sometimes gets a paying job, that had to really stretch his budget to get these tools, that couldn't be happier.

PS - Even the wife likes the new toys and didn't really bat an eye at the price. ???
