I would not have been able to do the work if it was not for the festool system.

when I got the work i invested in a TS55  3  rails at 1.4m, and Trion.

I used a Maffel saw before but for me the festool  system worked better as i had the OF1400. At the end of the project I treated myself to a Domino.

Thanks again.

PS please make a impact driver ill buy it and more !!

CONGRATULATIONS!  I would love to hear and see more about these projects.

Nice Work and congratulations on the coverage in Grand Designs!
Great pictures!
Can you give us some more details about the project, what you built and how it came about that you were featured in the magazine?

Great stuff! I visited the website for the magazine, and there is a really good picture of your kitchen on page 80. Good to see you took your shoes off before entering!

Spectacular looking kitchen.  Are those boots?  I thought it was a dead cat.  [unsure] [eek]

This was the eco issue of the Grand Dsigns magazine and this project was an eco build. The aim of the house was to reduce energy consumption by 80%. The client is an energy consultant and wanted to prove the concept on his own house. Its odd how i actually got the job. I was called in initially to cover someone on holiday for a week but ended up staying there for eight months.

On this project i did 80% of the carpentry.

- I designed and built the kitchen from the original floor boards of the house that were over 150 years old.
- i made all the builtin storage and shelving units.
- made and installed custom skirting and architraves.
- made and installed fire resistant glass partitions.
- layed reclaimed timber flooring.
- installed all premade doors.

here are some pictures of the kitchen. let me know if you have any questions and also if you would like to see anymore pictures of the house.

Sorry cant post pics as too big will resize and post asap

PS: the trainers were put there by the photographer.

Really nice work.  I love UK and continental designs.  Very functional, clean lines, not overly ornate like in the US, and space is used efficiently.  That's a great house too.  It's sort of funny, though.  It cost a lot of money to make a home energy efficient, but it's nice to have low utility bills and a comfortable home.

Nice! Great view.  That's some garden too! The kitchen cabinets and the folding doors make a dramatic frame.
Thanks for the update and the details.
