Everyone,
The people at Festool are busy designing and improving our favorite tools! We are very fortunate to have Christian Oltzscher (CEO of Festool USA) and Shane Holland (Business Applications Manager at Festool USA) as active contributors to this forum, and this section is a way for the Festool-owner community to connect with them.
While our friends at Festool regularly check all boards on the forum, and often post responses to discussions throughout the Festool Owners Group, they don't always have an opportunity to respond to every discussion. That's why I created this section: "Contact Festool" gives forum members a way to post questions directly to Festool, and it helps people at Festool check on forum activity most related to direct company inquiries.
Keep in mind that the Festool Owners Group is an independent forum. It is not formally connected with Festool. When you post here, it may take a short while before you get a response. Sometimes, there is a delay because Christian is checking with his technical staff on a good answer. Other times, it's because...well, he's busy as the CEO of Festool USA!
In other words, this section is a way to connect with Festool, but it's an informal arrangement. Please be patient when posting and waiting for a response from Festool.
