Apologies Tom! I've not been around here too long and haven't really 'got to know' any of you - so yes, a bit of an assumption on my part… I hope that, as live4ever says, you can take my comment as a compliment!

Mind you, my brother is in his mid-sixties and has a child in infant school but, as you suggest, it's a tough gig.

But -- "congratulations" just the same.

No apology necessary. I laughed at your comment and took it as a compliment.

I have a brother who has is in the same boat as yours. I find that hilarious.

I'm only 35 and had to change a diaper a few months ago and it darn near killed me. I can't imagine doing it regularly at 60.

wow, i thought i was the only one starting with the newborns at the ripe age of 40.  as much as i disliked doing diaper duty, i hated even more thinking of them sitting in soiled diapers for even a minute longer.  so i got super good and super efficient real fast, karate kid style:  wipes out, wipe off, wipes out...

since we're in a Progeny Photo Phase, i hope you don't mind if i borrow your thread for a second to post a quick one from my 2 right after the recent Connect.  Hope you're having a good birthday.

Congratulations.  My two daughters are 21 and 24, I always regretted not having more kids.

So when I met my partner and she told me she had two young kids, I was all over her.  Not to mention that she is seven years younger than me, tall blonde, and has really really big ....... brains.

I am still a boy after all and still trying to slip one past the goalie.
