I have just entered the pre-order for the Conturo and my sheetgoods/hardwood supplier does not stock any edgebanding other than the pre-glued thin banding.  It looks like I need to go on-line to order yet again.

For those who have ordered the thicker edgebanding, do you have any on-line supplier recommendations?

I am also looking for advice on a quality anvil cutter to cut the thick edgebanding to length.  My experience with the tin snips that I have been using on other stuff tends to leave a somewhat ragged cut.

Thanks,
Steve

Have you check Woodworkers Source?  They are located in Phoenix.

Steve, I have the bigger anvil cutter and it works good. No ragged edges. The thick edgebanding is typically just multiple laminations of the thinner edgebanding not a solid wood product. Richelieu sells a good product up here, don't know about your side of border.

If you contact Edgemate they can put you in touch with your local distributer. They make 1, ,2 and 3mm edgebanding in rolls or strips. ~$150 for a 328 foot roll and about the same for the equivalent in strips.
