Hello everyone.

I've been excitedly waiting for the release of the TI15 impact driver, but before buying one i just wondered if there has been anything announced about a possible TI18 version?

Would prefer to wait and get the 18v version along with the 18v Carvex jigsaw.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks - Edz.

Edz, welcome to the forum!

There are no plans that I'm aware of for other versions or voltages of the impact. That's not to say that it may not happen at some point, but nothing I've heard of. Your TI 15 battery would work with your 18V Carvex, but not vice versa.

Thanks a lot Shane!

You've been a big help. I'll go for the TI15.

Thats what I am doing....Waiting!   Cus I know for a fact the UK Ti15 version will have faults cus they seem to use us as test dummies! and I know for a FACT they will bring out a Ti18 if I was to buy the Ti15 now! and I aint being treated like a mug again and jumping on the speed train to be one of the first people to own a Ti15!

I did it with the T15 and it had/has a lot of faults and Im stuck with an out dated chuck which is useless and if I want the newer version which now comes with T15,  I need to spend a further £66 pounds!   Soooo ill wait................ wait...... im in no rush......... waiting............ I have no need for it.......... waiting...... if it turns out to be faultless and no plans for a Ti18.... then ill maybe buy one if I like it just cus I would want one but till then....... ill do more waiting...........    Sorry Im need to keep telling my self to wait because i'm bad for just wanting to buy the latest and best stuff available....... so wait JMB wait!!!!

Any way da is myyyyyyyy! 2 cents!

JMB,

Let's just face it - you can't wait.  You go a mile a minute, and trying to hold back may cause physical or mental harm  [eek].  Personally instead of seeing you implode or explode all over the FOG, just do yourself a favor and give in.  What is another Festool to your collection?  You'll hardly notice until you use it.

Prediction:  We will see a review soon because JMB is itching and the plastic is cold and needs to be warmed up.

How about a video?

Patience versus BS.  Let's see which will win out. Are we allowed to place a wager on this?  [big grin]

JMB, the TI 54 is coming out next year and it'll take (3) of the 18 volt batteries side by side if you have them from other tools.  There's also a chest harness with that.  What's neat is that the mount configures the 3 batteries in a side by side or 'V' configuration.
