There are just those moments.
Things are going along swimmingly. The verticals are edged, sanded and ready for finish. The crossmember has been jointed, planed, cut, edged and sanded. Perfect. I think I will be able to wrap it up tonight and do the finish tomorrow.
Without the dust tube on my new Trion, I can barely see the blade (now I see the glory in the lighted Carvex). The half-lap goes well. It's tight and I just need to widen it slightly. Okay, I can't see too well and it's a little fat now - not too bad, I guess I can shim it.
Then I see it. Darn it.
Time to go to bed and start over tomorrow...
