Hi all,
Looking for some advice please, I've just purchased a TKS 80 EBS along with the guide extension (VB TKS 80) and the Stopper fence (LA TKS 80). I've spent hours trying to set the angle stop and the stopper fence up square on the front cast aluminium V rails of the main table and the guide extension but every time I think I have them set I find that they are out when I move either one of them back to the main table front V rail. After a bit or checking and measuring I've found that the front and rear cast aluminium V rails are bowed i.e. if I place a straight edge along the front or rear of the saw, on the edge of the rail, there is a gap in the middle that I can fit a 0.8mm feeler in. As both the Stopper fence and the angle stop reference from the V rail it throws them out of square. The fence and the stop are perfectly square when they are on the guide extension as the extruded aluminium V rails are straight as a die. Any one else have or has had similar issues? Cheers, John
