Tom Gensmer reviews the new Festool Vecturo Oscillating Multitool. Festool has added power, reduced the vibration, and added several amazing accessories to improve the oscillating multitool segment. The Depth Stop makes it simple to limit the depth of cut when making plunge cuts, like cutting trim or flooring. The Depth Stop shoe can limit the depth of cut in applications like cutting drywall where you need to avoid cutting too deep and hitting plumbing or electrical wires. The Plunge Base makes it easy to do cut outs without blade wander, for precise and accurate cuts every time. The Vecturo Oscillating Multitool has 400 watts of power and a large oscillation frequency of four degrees, allowing it to outperform similar tools.

Your wallet is going to hate you on 12/1 if you are going to replace all 5 MM's with the Vecturo!  Then again Merry Christmas to your dealer.

I would not think twice about buying a 6th Multi tool.  I honestly use them very often on a multitude of jobs.  I never sand with them, only cutting. For installs, they are a must. The plunge accessory alone is what sells me on this tool, that and it's festool.  Now I hide those hideous orange tools.  Just kidding

Will the Vecturo come in a systainer with an attic lid, like the one in the video? If so, would we be able to by the systainer with insert by itself? I think that you would be able to sell a lot of the systainers with attic lid and all the accessories for the Vecturo all together, minus the actual tool. I wish that I had known that this was coming to NA so soon because I just recently bought the supercut in a systainer, as many of us did. Most of us would have waited for the Vecturo. Oh well, life goes on.

The set version of the Vecturo will include the attic Systainer, which will be great for blade storage. The non-set version will have a regular Systainer. As far as I know, the attic Systainer will not be offered separately or as a spare part.

Will the Vecturo accept other multi-tool blades?

It's compatible with Fein Supercut blades. You can also use any adapters made for the Supercut that would add additional blade compatibility.

I suspect that the dust would be about the same and more related to the tooth size and pitch on the blade being used than the oscillation amplitude or frequency.

Pre-ordered the Vecturo...I can't wait!  One question, does the Vecturo have a light?? I can't see from the video, and it does not say??  I was hoping it had a strobe light like to Carvex??
