Hi [member=57769]TylerC[/member], are we any closer to getting the tool registration issue resolved?
I went to register my new purchase today (yay!), and the registration page is nowhere as useful as it used to be. If I recall correctly, we would sign in (and not have to enter the name, address, etc.), then pick the tool from the lineup vs. squinting to figure out what the T-Nr is for that particular model and enter the S-Nr. Also, the site used to let us upload a pdf of the receipt, and also provided us with an "at-a-glance" of what we have and the date(s) of purchase/warranty expiration.
The current system has us enter all the info (name/address), and push submit to the netherworld. If we want to know what we have in there, now we send you a pm to to download the data and produce an Excel file, which (I'm sorry) is not as user friendly as it could be. In my spreadsheet from the summer, one tool shows up twice and one router is the wrong model. The last time I tried to use the current registration, it was to enter another router which I have no idea whether it took. In the past, we could go back in and correct stuff without bothering you, which would be really handy for everyone, including yourself.
I know this is a P.I.T.A., but can you please send yet another shot (or two, or three) over the bow at corporate on our behalf to get the registration system back the way it used to be? It's not a hard fix by any means.
