Tool registration and account info?

Thank you [member=57769]TylerC[/member]! Yes, I'm sure it is a pain to have to run the queries, especially being the point person for having to do that. Hoping for a fix soon, for your benefit and those who want to go back in on occasion to check.

Thanks again!

I know this is a really old post but is there any news on the 'account' feature?
I just registered a few new tools and couldn't remember if I had already registered a couple of old ones...there's no way to check.
Also, some of the old ones I registered have my old address.

I saw the notification pop up for this thread and looked back on the post history. August 25, 2017 is when I posted "how hard can this be?"

My background: With well over 20 years of experience, I hold the position of Senior Engineer at a publicly-traded, multi-billion dollar software company with over 20,000 employees. In the past twelve months, my team of about sixteen engineers have released two cloud-scale web applications and are currently working on our third, due to release at the end of the year.

At the risk of being told that I'm using aggressive language, I would say that Festool corporate really needs to fire the entire team that is responsible for their wretched excuse for a web site and bring back the old one until something better can be developed. They should be disgusted and ashamed of how this has progressed.

Any chance we can get an update on this?  The link under "Additional Websites, Register a Tool (US)" is not working, and I'm pretty sure I need to update what I purchased since 2018.

Thank you for anyone from Festool who can provide a long-standing status update.
C.

I just realized that I already posted in this topic in August 2017, making kind-of fun out of this not being fixed back then...

I said in 2017 this should take 4-6 weeks to complete. I think 4-6 years is more likely now.
