Tool Registration Question

I was on Festool's USA's main page and under CONTACT I asked a question about tool registration, but never got an answer, so I decided to see if someone on FOG could help me out.  I'm trying to find out if my tools are properly registered in the Festool data base, but cant find a link to take me to the information.  I'm properly logged in and know how to register a tool online, but the store tells me they do the registration for me.  That's all well and good as long as they actually do the operation.  But I would think there would be a link where a person could go to verify that the information is actually in the data base.  I don't want to wait until I have a problem 2 years down the road only to find out that my tool was never put into the registration data base.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Currently, there's not a way that you can check this. I will be adding that functionality to the website soon.

In the interim, I would encourage all of our customers to register their full range of tools on our website. It would be better to have duplication between the dealer and yourself than to find out it's not registered at all.  [wink]

I will contact you privately with a list of tools that I see in our system for you. Also, apologies that you question through the website was not answered in a timely manner from our sales team.

Nope, there's an option when registering to select "Used", "New", or "Refurbished" for the type of registration. First step.
