I  recently recieved a Email from Beaver Tools, at the bottom of the page on The Festool Link this is what they added:

Coming this fall - We can't show you or tell you yet, but here is what we can say:

1.The first tool will have an IMPACT on your assemblies and installs.

2.The second tool will take everything you know about Festool Routers and turn it upside down

Sound that way to me, but I am guessing the CMS will be only for the router.

I'm actually more interested in the TS75 module, but I agree it is a start.

In my heart I am betting we in NA will never see the saw module's for the CMS, I feel there is issue's with it that won't get resolved and approved for us.
Sad to say as I would love that setup for myself and my cabinet making.
OH well like I said earlier its a start.  [2cents]

I'm a very new buyer/user of Festool products. My 1st choice would be a T handle companion to the CXS drill. Next to that would be a full set of HSS drill bits in Imperial sizes. I have a small DeWalt 12v drill, but the darn thing looses its hold on bits and they just fall out. I don't have that problem with the CXS.

Why would you want a T- handle CXS?

Isn't the new C12 actually smaller than it used to be and is using 10.8 volt batteries? Would think that is as close to a T drill as they will make.

I've compared the CXS and C12 back to back. The CXS is much smaller, lighter, and more ergonomic than the C12 in my hands.

There are situations where I prefer a T handle drill. My DeWalt T handle drills(14,12, and 18) are fine tools, but the Festool stuff is in a different quality league.

I liked the ergonomics on the CXS so much, and still do, that I figured the larger C drills would have similar satisfaction. For me they did not, though I never gave them a test beyond the dealer. I decided on a T-15 at the time. I've owned every make of extreme compact drill with the exception of the dewalt, and in my view, the CXS out performs the lot. There hasn't been a situation where i thought the design was a hinderance in the slightest. It's been nothing but an asset.

of course this is just a personal view and my type of work may differ greatly from yours. The only reason I bring it up is that I'm honestly surprised.
