Hello, I currently own a 2014 TI 15 cordless impact. What is the policy from Festool to upgrade to the latest and greatest? And / or are there any alternatives, other than E-bay, to trade-up?
Thanks,
James

I dont speak for Festool, but I have never heard of any such program in N America. I think you will have to sell and then buy new as needed--

No such trade in / up deal that I know of. Ebay or FOG Classifieds. I know that there are people looking to buy the Ti15 based on posts here.

To confirm what others have said, Festool doesn't have a trade-in program.

Is there ANY hand tool manufacture that offers such a program ?

Not that I am aware of. I can't I have run across
any tool manufacturer offering such a program in
the past 40 years.

Some other tool companies have offered trade-ins in the past. I think Woodcraft had a router program last year, but it was for the purchase of a Porter Cable router so technically it was a Porter Cable program. Try selling it here, on eBay, or Craigslist. Trade-ins only make sense if you have a beat tool. If it is in good shape you call sell it.

I missed Woodcraft's promo, so don't know the terms.

However , I'll bet it wasn't all that great because their reg. prices tend to be $25-$50 higher than competitors on porter cable routers.

Actually I think it was Rockler that had a trade-in program. Don't know if it included drills or not but they don't sell Festool tools anymore.
