REALLY looking forward to the ground thawing so the season can get underway, looking forward to competing in local events, as well as hopefully a few trips to Chicago for either CPL or MWXL events.
Sold because of the tilt base issue, because of the blade clamps, because of the dust collection, because of the sheer space the saw and accessories occupy (Sys1 AND a Sys2?!? P1cc fits both bases and all accessories into a Sys1), because I'm shifting to the Mafell track system.
Don't get me wrong, the Carvex is a nice little jigsaw, and I think that certain users will get a lot of mileage out of the bases optimized for different materials. That being said, if I'm going to spend some serious $$$ on a top line jigsaw, I don't want to feel like I compromised.
