Good day folks

I'm new on here but I have a few festool goodies like the Tracksaw, Jigsaw, Domino Jointer and Extractor.

Has anyone found a solution to run a Trend T11 router with a Festool guide rail. The router will spend most of its time in the router table, I just wondered if it was possible. I have heard one rumor that a makita router guide will work but am away from home at the minute so can't look into this properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

For years I used a profiled piece of MDF with a 30mm hole in it to jam my Bosch 30mm guide bush into and run it along the rail. Probably worked more stable than the Festool offering does as it was larger and less chance of wobble.

My understanding is that the Trend T11 is a rebranded version of the Dewalt DW625 plunge router. I don't know whether all the dimensions are the same, but the edge guide for the T11 supposedly fits the DW625. Dewalt makes a router attachment for their plunge saw rails so the routers can be used with their rails. The attachment may also fit the Trend T11 router and the Festool rails. The part number is DWS5031.

The OF2000 adapter is supposed to work, As the guide rod spacing are the same, but it needs packing , and you can't use the adjustment mechanism , I've bought one , but have yet to sort out the packing.

I'm away from home for a week , so I cannot post any pictures .

Cheers

(I've got a dewalt 625 I think the T11 is the same )
