When making bevel cuts with the track saw is there a device which secures the shoe to the track? Making 47 degree bevel cut the weight of the saw will tip it off the track if you let go, in the beginning and end of cut. Any suggestions?
I would not use any hold down even if there was one. The saw will pull and flex the track up resulting in uneven bevel. Just hold the shoe down with your hand.
Thanks for the replies! This got me thinking . I took a kickback stop and reversed the direction. Now the thumb turn can tighten down on the shoe of the saw. Fast, easy, simple!
