Unfortunately my TS 75 fell off the MFT3 and onto the concrete floor of my shop a couple weeks ago. There was no obvious damage to the outside of the saw, but something must have gotten tweaked because I have since noticed two things:
1. The saw now cuts very close to the track. It still cuts strait, just now very close to the track. When I look at my splinter guard, I can see that the blade position shifted about 3-4 mm to the left and it now rides about 1-2mm away from the track, which is too close for my comfort. Can the left-to-right positioning of the blade/saw be adjusted so that I may move my blade back to the stock position further away from the track? If so, I would appreciate any guidance/docs/links on how to make that adjustment. Is this something that is easily user adjustable or something better left to send in for service?
2. It appears that the saw is throwing out significantly more sawdust than before the drop. No change in the type or depth of material I've been cutting (generally 4/4 or 8/4 hardwood stock) or change in dust collection (its always attached to a CT 36 with the stock hose that came with the CT (27mm, I think)) since before the drop. I changed the dust bag in the CT just in case, but that didn't have much impact. Could something be misaligned or could those extra few mm of dead space be causing so much more dust to be ejected out the front of the saw? I have read that upgrading to the larger hose is a must with the TS 75, but I can certainly tell a difference before/after the drop on the existing stock hose and would like to troubleshoot that before just going and buying a larger hose.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jose
