A topic for all the new plunge saws which are popping up every where!
Also adding circular saws with no plunge action but will work on festool guide rails.
Here I would like to list all the other branded plunge saws with disadvantage and advantages but ALSO if it has a special feature we would like to see on the Festool TS plunge saws.
I will update this first post as new plunge saws pop up and/or if I missed any which are already currently available.

http://www.dewalt.co.uk/powertools/productdetails/catno/DWS520K/

2. It has a double pivot plunge action which means the saw handle stays at the same angle it just moves downwards
3. They do a cordless version of the saw
Disadvantage: 1. The Double sided rail could be undesirable when using a square or parallel guide to align the rail to your workpiece

3. It has a 1degree tilt the other way

5. It has a more advanced rail system
6. Easier blade change
7. The depth adjuster can be set for using the saw ON and OFF the rail

In fact, the Bosch GKT 55 is a version of the Mafell MT 55, the Bosch is build by Mafell. To justify the price they removed many features the MT 55 has from the Bosch GKT 55.
- to open the blade cover the Mafell has a lever, the Bosch has 4 screws
- Mafell when the blade cover is opened, the blade is locked, Bosch has a additional lever for this (in fact, the same lever that at the Maffel opens the blade cover and locks the blade at the Bosch locks the blade only, to open the cover there are four screws to be removed)
- the scale for the cutting depth is adjustable for the Mafell, so it's possible to zero the scale in case the blade has been sharpened - removed for the Bosch
- Mafell has a single clamp for angle adjustment, Bosch has two srews
- Mafell has a "Vorritzfunktion" (don't know how to translate this), a special depth setting for coated bords (so that the coating is not damaged along the cut)
- Mafell has position indicators (begin and end of the saw blade), adjustable to cutting depth - not at the Bosch
