Have any of you non-NA folks managed to make a zero clearance insert for your TS plate? It seems like something a 3D printer would be perfect for, but I have neither the printer nor the skills needed to create one.

Yep, I bought some 10mm thick UHDMW nylon, stuck my table saw plate to it with some double sided tape and used a pattern bit to route around it, then I used a mortising bit to put a rabbet on the underside and to take the UHDMW to depth so it sat at the correct level. Flipped the plate over and drilled the mounting holes. Mounted the UHDMW in place, sat the fence over the edge and clamped a piece of wood over the insert before starting the saw and raising the blade through the insert.
Works great been in situ for about a year now with no issues.
