Happy Thanksgiving!
Just got an MFT/3, and like most Festool purchases, I'm wondering why I didn't just get it earlier. Would have saved me a ton of time on cutting up the panels for an earlier project.
While making some cuts with the TS55, I noticed that the cut line in the MFT3 diverged at the top of the cut (toward the top of the table). In other words, I made my initial cut and the first cut line in the MFT was created. At some point a subsequent cut tailed off of that original cut line.
After I noticed this, I double checked if everything was tightened down, and it all checked out okay. TS55 was nice and snug in the rail.
Somehow, the rail must have shifted over a hair, OR there is some play in my TS55 somewhere. I'm thinking its the TS55 as I could never get a good square cut. I was always off by a little less 1/16th or so. Not a big deal in the stuff I make, but now that I see the cut line in the MFT3, I'm wondering if it is me, and I'm not using the equipment correctly (most likely) or there is something else going on.
Would anyone have any insight into this?
Aloha!
